First day went pretty uneventful for a friday morning. Woke up, took a shower, got dressed, and ventured in to the kitchen to prepare the Lemonade.
All ingredients lined up in the counter top, I take a good look at them and think to myself.... 10 days....hummmm.... Jesus help!
As much as the mind was telling me i'd be fine, my stomach, who has a brain of its own strongly disagrees.
Preparing the lemonade was not an easy task. I try to prepare 1 bottle at a time. VOSS water was the bottle water of choice for sustainability reasons, as these are glass, and thus can be washed and re-used without any problems (unlike their plastic counterparts).
If you are the type of person who cannot function until you have your 1st cup of coffee, then you probably can relate to this:
VOSS is a norwegian water, and the bottles also come in norwegian size, so instead of 1.5L or 24oz or whatever measure makes sense to a normal brain..... the bottle has precisely 800ml.... and now how many 10oz glasses of water are in 800ml again?
Even being a numbers person this kind of math hurts at 7:15AM. Finally got all proportions figure out, and off i went to preparing my 3 bottles of lemonade.
Oh i kind of cheated a little, and instead of the salt bath i had the tea, which is fine according to the book. (the main reason is because i could not figure out that 1Quart of water are actually 4 glasses at that time in the morning. Why can't people in the US just call it 1Liter like everybody else?)
Well my goal was to drink about 4 bottles of lemonade (about 12 cups) a day. However to my surprise I did not feel hungry at all and had a really hard time finishing the 3rd bottle. I also had lots of energy and was in a really good mood.
However at about 10PM I started getting really tired with a crazy headache, chills and hot flashes, which apparently it is normal as you body begins to detox and releases all toxins from the cells, then these toxins just go crazy in the blood stream and one feels sick until the body fluxes them out.
In sum, a great first day.
Report on day 2 coming up.
